She gained recognition on Barney & Friends, As the Bell Rings and the movie Camp Rock, after she was invited to participate in Disney Channel's original series 'Sonny with a Chance. As a singer, she recorded hits such as her debut single "This Is Me" (number nine on the Billboard Hot 100), the 'Skyscraper,' 'Cool for the Summer,' and 'Heart Attack.' Singing career got her to a judge role on the television competition show The X Factor (2012-2013). John Mayer is her biggest musical influence. In late 2016, she began dating Luke Rockhold. She dated Wilmer Valderrama and Joe Jonas.
