Green Day is a punk rock band formed by lead singer and guitar player Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist Mike Dirnt, in US 1986. The band has been a trio with drummer Tre Cool. Also, guitar player Jason White was a legitimate member from 2012 to 2016. They published their major album debut, Dookie (won the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album). After that Green Day has released hit albums such as Nimrod, American Idiot, Uno Dos Tre, Revolution Radio.
