Born on February 5, 1985, on a small island Madeira in Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo is a Portuguese soccer player who is considered one of the greatest footballers in the history of the game. He curently plays as a forward for Spanish club Real Madrid, as well as the Portugal national team. Before Real Madrid, he played for Manchester United and Sporting Lisabon. In 2009, Real Madrid paid a record $131 million for his services. He won 4 Champion leagues and 4 Baloon D'Or awards, as well as the European cup title with the Portugal in 2016. He holds numerous individial records, and is considered as one of the most prolific scorers that game has ever seen.
